About Cameron
I'm Cam — the owner of Uptime IT Solutions and the person who'll most likely answer when you call. I studied Computer Science at James Cook University while working as a technician at my family's computer shop, PCSNQ, in Townsville. That combination of formal training and full-time hands-on repair work from a young age built the foundation I still draw on every day.
After university I moved into corporate IT, managing technology for a large Townsville accounting firm. I learned how heavily businesses depend on their systems running reliably — and how much trust clients place in the person looking after them. In January 2012 I registered Uptime IT Solutions, and over the past 14+ years I've built it into a business I'm genuinely proud of: grown almost entirely through repeat clients, referrals, and a reputation for going above and beyond on every job.
